Ford Trucks now also in Estonia
Ford Trucks, the global brand of Ford Otosan, which stands out with its engineering experience and 60 years of heritage in the heavy commercial vehicle sector, continues international expansion by partnering with FTrucks OÜ, a distributor of new trucks in Estonia.
Ford Trucks, with a prominent presence in Western Europe, has in recent years been vigorously expanding in Central and Eastern Europe with 46 markets so far. F-MAX, developed and produced from scratch by Ford Otosan engineers, the latest model of Ford Trucks has met great sales success internationally and is in high demand thanks to its economy and reliability.
FTrucks OÜ, a subsidiary of KB Auto Eesti OÜ, one of Scandinavia's largest dealers of used heavy equipment, signed a distributor agreement with Ford Trucks in October, with first new trucks arriving in Estonia at the end of this year. Distributor is in Rummu, Harju County, where in addition to sales of new trucks, there will also be facilities for warranty and service works.
According to Karl Biltse, chairman of the board of KB Auto group, KB Auto Eesti OÜ's existing infrastructure and 15 years of international experience in brokerage of pre-owned heavy equipment enabled it to enter a niche of new trucks much more efficiently than a newcomer would. "We can give customer a buyback offers for used truck on the spot, which helps to simplify the financing of a new vehicle as well," he explained.
Although FTrucks OÜ maintains and services practically all Ford Trucks heavy trucks, sales operations focus on the F-MAX model,"2019 International Truck of the Year (IToY) . In Estonia, Ford F-MAX was exhibited at the "Maamess", where it received a lot of positive feedback.
KB Auto Eesti OÜ is an Estonian capital-based company, having in 15 years grown to become one of the largest dealers of used heavy equipment in Scandinavia. The company has subsidiaries in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. KB Auto Eesti OÜ sold over 1,700 units of heavy equipment last year.
